About LHC

LHC · Les Heures Claires is an independent French magazine and media outlet about artificial intelligence and how it transforms the ways we create, think and live.

WHO WE ARE

LHC · Les Heures Claires was founded in October 2023 by Rémi Rostan, its founder and editor-in-chief. The magazine sees itself as avant-garde: issue after issue, a demonstration of what artificial intelligence can do, and where it falls short. Because AI keeps evolving, each issue becomes a witness of its generation.

LHC is now backed by Studio LHC, a creative agency specialised in artificial intelligence.

WHAT WE PUBLISH

The magazine: every edition is available in digital form, and some in print.

The AI watch: a daily, bilingual (French, English) selection of AI news, each article linking to its source.

The glossary: creative AI concepts explained simply.

The directory: the artists, creatives and experts who use AI as a means of expression.

The inventory: creative AI tools, described and classified.

Events and open calls: the meetings and calls for projects of the ecosystem.

OUR APPROACH

Each issue unfolds in three parts: technique, exploring how artificial intelligence works; creativity, highlighting what these tools make possible; humour, through the way AI looks at our own human habits.

Around twenty AI tools take part in making each issue, from interview preparation to post-production and layout. One question drives the project: how far can AI go before a human has to step in? How we work with these tools is set out in our editorial and AI use charter.

OUR AMBITION

To become a reference for brands and communication agencies that want to keep up with artificial intelligence, and for the creatives who take hold of it.
