With Magic Canvas, Tavus agents show instead of redirecting to a form
Tavus video agents now display live interactive charts and forms. A solution for validating data during the call.
Tavus is equipping its PALs, its conversational video agents, with a shared visual space called Magic Canvas. These agents already had a face, a voice, and the ability to read their interlocutor's expression, but as soon as a conversation required something to be shown or entered with precision—a chart, a date, an email—they would redirect to a form or an external link, and nothing could be finalized while still talking.
Magic Canvas fills this gap. A chart draws itself as numbers are discussed, a calendar appears with slots to choose from, a field opens so an address can be typed rather than misunderstood, a question is displayed when it matters. One part is there to be seen while the agent explains, the rest awaits an action, and everything the user enters flows back in real time to existing systems, including CRMs.
None of this needs to be triggered, either by the user or the designer: the agent itself detects the moment when words are no longer enough, then pulls a ready-made component from its library or generates one on the fly, right where the PAL is already deployed.
The highlighted use cases range from the sales representative who has the email entered, wraps up qualification in one or two questions, and books the meeting before saying goodbye, to support keeping the current step on screen and warning before an irreversible action, or the tutor drawing a diagram while explaining and seeing which incorrect answer was checked. Activation takes just one click on any PAL, and a collaborative whiteboard to sketch on together is promised soon.
