Widget, Embed, or simple link: Tavus simplifies PAL Deployment
Tavus Deployments lets users publish a PAL from PAL Maker as a widget, embed, or link, without managing hosting or API keys.
Deployments adds a publishing layer to PAL Maker designed to move a PAL from setup to public use without requiring a dedicated interface to be built. From the same environment, a PAL can be integrated into a website, placed directly within a page, or shared through a simple link.
Three formats are available. The widget sits in the corner of a page and opens into a conversation when clicked. The embed places the PAL directly within the site content. The Tavus-hosted landing page allows the same agent to be shared through a URL, without requiring a website or app.
Tavus also handles the underlying technical infrastructure. Conversations are created and run on the platform side, which avoids exposing an API key or setting up separate hosting. Publishing from PAL Maker therefore comes down to choosing a format, then either adding a tag to the site or sharing the generated link.
Each deployment also includes controls. Users can restrict the domains where the PAL is allowed to run, set a maximum number of conversations, and filter bots before they consume those limits. Changes made later in PAL Maker are reflected in PALs that are already live, without requiring another update to the website.
Tavus illustrates these use cases with examples including an assistant accessible from a medical discharge sheet, visual support integrated into a product page, and a conversational product demo. In the medical example, however, the technical capability described by Tavus should be distinguished from a validated medical device or a replacement for a healthcare professional, neither of which the company claims.
Deployments does not replace Tavus’ CVI APIs. Developers can still use them when they need direct control over conversations and calls. This new option instead provides a shorter path for publishing a PAL that has already been built in PAL Maker.
