Three new OpenAI Academy courses: AI, workflows, and agents

OpenAI Academy launches three new courses on AI foundations, workflows, and agents, developed with BCG, Accenture, and BBVA to train and certify teams.

OpenAI Academy expands with three pathways designed to structure team skill development: AI Foundations, Applied AI Foundations, and Agents and Workflows.

The first lays the groundwork for daily use, from prompting to contextualization, output review, and responsible use, enough to make common tasks like writing, summarizing, or meeting preparation more reliable.

Next comes the conversion of an effective prompt into a repeatable workflow, with definition of inputs, models, tools, checkpoints, and human review, all under constraints of quality, speed, and cost.

The last module tackles the management of agent-assisted work: framing the context, setting outputs and limits, controlling results, and identifying moments when human judgment remains indispensable. The design involves partners such as BCG, Accenture, and BBVA. Each completed course issues a shareable certificate, and organizations can integrate these modules into their onboarding or internal training programs.

OpenAI presents this as the first building block of a roadmap set to expand.
