TCS-Anthropic Partnership to bring Claude to regulated industries
Tata Consultancy Services partners with Anthropic to deploy the Claude AI model to 50,000 employees and build secure tools for highly regulated sectors.
Anthropic partners with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), one of the world's largest technology service providers, to deploy Claude in sectors where compliance and traceability are paramount. The agreement unfolds on three fronts: an internal deployment to 50,000 TCS employees in 56 countries, the creation of Claude-based products for clients in financial services, healthcare, or the public sector, and TCS's entry into the Claude Partner Network.
As "customer zero," TCS is first putting Claude to work within its own teams, from engineering to sales, before developing industry-specific offerings such as claims processing for insurers or credit consulting for banks. Several projects are already underway: Diligenta, its UK life insurance and pensions subsidiary, is leveraging Claude for the more than 22 million policyholders it manages, its banking teams are relying on Claude Code for software development, and TCS iON, which conducts over 75 million assessments annually in India, will provide training and certifications.
Dario Amodei sees this as a deepening of Anthropic's commitment in India, which he presents as its second market.
