SpAItial AI launches Echo-2 HQ, an updated world model enhancing 3D Gaussian Splatting visual quality and texture precision from a single image via its API.

Echo-2 HQ is a reworked version of SpAItial AI's Echo-2 world model, already presented in a previous article. The evolution focuses on visual quality: more detail, a sharper rendering, and a visual fidelity that the team highlights during close-up zooms, where textures and vegetation gain in precision. It is not an architectural change, with Echo-2 and its 3D Gaussian Splatting rendering remaining the foundation, but a refinement of the final rendering, directly perceptible when zooming in on a scene.

As a reminder, Echo-2 generates spatially persistent 3D environments from a single image, consistent regardless of the viewing angle. The new version is accessible via the API and the application, at app.spaitial.ai, where SpAItial AI offers example scenes to explore.
