Runway is rolling out Multi-Shot App, a new feature available now on its web application. The principle: from a simple text prompt or an image, the tool automatically generates a video sequence made up of several linked shots, with integrated dialogues, sound effects, cuts, rhythm, and cinematic framing. Previously, where creating a multi-shot scene required generating each shot separately and then manually assembling everything, Multi-Shot App automates the entire process in a single generation. The examples shared on 𝕏 show sequences of approximately 15 seconds with native sound, ranging from humorous skits (a lion at the therapist's, monsters in group therapy) to more elaborate cinematic atmospheres. The feature is accessible directly from Runway's web interface, in pure Text-to-Video mode or from a starting image.
