Pomelli is enriched by Catalog
Google Labs and DeepMind update Pomelli with Catalog, a feature allowing SMBs to generate marketing campaigns and photoshoots from actual product data.
Pomelli, the experimental tool from Google Labs developed with Google DeepMind for small and medium-sized businesses, introduces Catalog. This feature allows users to add their products or services to the platform so that campaign and visual generations are based on the company's actual catalog, and no longer just on its brand identity (colors, fonts, tone of voice) automatically extracted from the website.
Three import methods are offered: from a product page URL, from which the system retrieves content, by manual entry (name, description, photo), or via synchronization of existing images. Once the catalog is built, two actions are accessible from each product page: Create Campaign, which generates marketing content adaptable for social media and advertising formats, and Create Photoshoot, which transforms a basic photograph into a studio or lifestyle visual utilizing lighting, staging, and backgrounds.
Pomelli remains in beta and is free, accessible via a Google account at labs.google.com/pomelli, primarily in English, with a European rollout underway. Some restrictions accompany the service: capped monthly generation volume, variable latency, compliance with Google's editorial guidelines. The outputs can then be downloaded for publication on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
