Pika Labs opens an MCP for Claude and launches three video skills: Explainer, Podcast, and UGC Ads

Pika Labs launches the Pika MCP connector for Claude, enabling users to generate video content via three new skills: Explainer, Podcast, and UGC Ads.

Pika Labs has released Pika MCP, a Model Context Protocol connector that allows its video generation engine to connect to Claude. Once the connection is established, the model can be given a face, a name, and a personality, then prompted to produce multimodal video content without leaving the assistant's interface.

Installation is done from Claude's settings, under the Connectors section. The user adds a new connector by pasting the URL `https://mcp.pika.me/api/mcp`, names it Pika, then connects to their Pika account upon validation. Full documentation is available at pika.me/mcp.

Three skills accompany the release. Explainer generates a descriptive video from a URL, a GitHub repository, or a written brief, using only the provided link as input. Podcast stages an exchange between multiple characters based on reference images and a short brief, for example, a founder presenting her application. UGC Ads transforms a website or project into an advertisement video in short user-generated content format.

This format aligns with the skill libraries recently published by ElevenLabs and Higgsfield AI, which expose their capabilities to conversational or coding agents via standardized installation commands.
