Pika is testing Director's Suite, an experimental AI video editor powered by Claude that uses an agent to manage projects from storyboards to timeline.

Under the name Director's Suite, Pika is experimenting with an interface where a single agent builds and understands an entire video project. The idea: describe what you want, via keyboard or voice (still very beta), and let the agent chain together the steps, from concept to casting, from storyboards to shot generation. These shots, produced from validated storyboards, are automatically organized into the timeline and asset library; editing then takes place on this timeline or by speaking to the agent.

Pika emphasizes context memory: the agent keeps the entire project in mind, so a command like 'have Doug arrive at the office party in the first scene' is interpreted without needing to re-explain everything. The company demonstrates this with a six-minute series pilot created end-to-end on a single platform, and the tool relies on Claude according to its presentation page.

At this stage, Director's Suite is not a commercially available product but one of those 'Experiments' that Pika embraces as intentionally rough around the edges. The company is also soliciting public feedback to decide on its release.
