OpenArt opens an MCP image and video connector for AI agents
OpenArt MCP connects OpenArt's image and video models directly to AI agents like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor using a simple URL without API keys.
OpenArt launches OpenArt MCP, a connector that plugs its catalog of image and video models, as well as the user's personal library, directly into an AI agent. The connector works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible clients.
The principle involves simply pasting a URL into the agent's connector settings, with an OpenArt account connection via OAuth and no API key to create or renew. The agent then accesses OpenArt's entire catalog, and every new model automatically synchronizes without manual intervention. From the conversation, users can generate images and videos from text, start with an image to animate it, and reuse any past generation as a style reference or as a starting image for a video, all while keeping the same account, credits, and projects. OpenArt claims to be the only connector to provide access to this entire library.
Regarding models, the tool aggregates recent third-party references, with OpenArt citing, for example, Seedance 2, GPT Image 2, Kling 3 Omni, or Veo 3.1. The company summarizes it all under the motto of "agentic creation."
