OpenArt launches Director, video creation with just conversation
OpenArt launches Director, a conversational video generator creating consistent five-minute films, voiceovers, and music through a single chat interface.
OpenArt launches Director, a fully conversational video creation mode that the company dubs « vibe directing, » by analogy with vibe coding: you describe what you want, refine it through the exchange, and the tool handles the rest.
OpenArt's main selling point is its end-to-end integration. Director aims for videos up to five minutes generated in a single take, without stitching together shots or using an editing timeline, as the tool sequences the footage itself. It boasts consistent characters, objects, and brand identity throughout the entire duration, and brings together voiceovers, music, and subtitles in one place, with native support for at least eight languages. Both creation and editing are handled through a single conversation.
The company positions the tool for a wide range of uses, from short films to music videos, including UGC or product ads, micro-dramas, social content, and explainer videos.
