OpenArt attaches a persistent voice to its AI characters
OpenArt launches Characters with Voices, a feature to permanently assign cloned, described, or library voices to AI characters across its creative suite.
OpenArt enriches its AI characters with a sound dimension through Characters with Voices. The idea is to assign a voice to a character just once, so that it then follows the character across all the platform's tools, from images to videos, including lip-sync and audio.
Three ways to define this voice are offered. The first involves cloning one's own voice, from an audio file of up to 90 seconds or a microphone recording. The second uses a written description, for example, "warm and confident young woman's voice," which the system translates into a custom voice. The third draws from a library of ready-to-use voices, available in various styles and accents.
The setting is done in the Character Builder: you select or create a character, assign a voice to it, and the assignment becomes permanent. From then on, the character can speak in video via several lip-sync models, including Hedra, OmniHuman, and Kling, read text using text-to-speech with adjustable tone, speed, and emotions, or be used for audio-only content. OpenArt lists among the applications virtual influencers, animated series, and narrative videos.
All these features are grouped within a single workspace, OpenArt Suite, accessible via the Character section.
