OpenArt VFX uses Beeble's SwitchX model to apply AI-generated visual effects and relighting to pre-recorded videos without green screens or reshoots.

OpenArt AI enriches its platform with OpenArt VFX, a feature that applies visual effects to an already shot video, without a studio, green screen, or reshoot. The user imports their footage, masks an area on the first frame, and the AI substitutes generated content that matches the lighting, physics, and movement of the original scene. The main subject retains their performance and movements, while the background, lighting, and effects are reworked in minutes.

The processing relies on SwitchX, a Beeble model designed to precisely isolate the subject, relight the scene, and manage frame-by-frame masked editing without flicker or artifacts. Three modes coexist within a single import: entirely replacing the background, modifying the lighting and ambiance (golden hour, film noir, cinematic rendering), or masking a specific region to generate an effect described by a text prompt or a reference image, propagated across all frames.

The demonstration features a boxer whose punching bag transforms in turn into a checkerboard, a carcass, a block of ice, and then a pocket of lava, without altering his movements or shadows.

Export is currently limited to 720p and 1080p, with no 2K or 4K. Access starts free, and the produced videos are commercially usable.
