OpenAI structures a partner network for enterprise AI adoption
OpenAI launches its Partner Network with $150M to deploy ChatGPT models via Accenture, Bain, BCG, McKinsey, PwC, aiming for 300,000 certified consultants.
With the OpenAI Partner Network, ChatGPT's publisher is launching its first global partner program, backed by $150 million. The initiative brings together consulting firms, integrators, technology providers, and data specialists tasked with deploying its models in enterprises. The stated premise: model capability is no longer the main barrier to adoption; the bottleneck now lies in identifying use cases, workflow redesign, integration with existing systems, and change management.
The program is organized into three tiers—Select, Advanced, and Elite—contingent on commercial performance, technical maturity, co-selling commitment, and deployment experience. Specializations are planned for Codex, cybersecurity, and agents. A pilot component, Forward Deployed Experts, brings partner practitioners closer to OpenAI's deployment engineering teams on the most complex projects.
At launch, participants notably include Accenture, Bain, BCG, Eliza, McKinsey, and PwC. The company aims for 300,000 certified consultants by the end of 2026.
