Music to Dance: Wan synchronizes an avatar to your music
Alibaba's Wan model launches Music to Dance, a tool synchronizing custom character videos with audio beats across five dance styles on web and mobile.
Provide an image of a character and a song, then get a video where they dance to the beat: that's what Music to Dance does, the new feature of the avatar tools from Wan, Alibaba's video model. Five styles are available, from street dance to tap, including Latin, K-Pop, and classical Chinese. The rendering aligns movements with the music's strong beats instead of chaining generic gestures. The feature is accessible on the web, with an arrival on the Wan app planned.
Wan also offers a new Illustrated Journal Skill, which converts ordinary photos into diary-style pages: handwritten lettering, loved ones transformed into stickers, or pencil rendering. These Skills are applied in a few clicks, without elaborate prompts, on both the website and the app.
