Motion, Mosaic's agent who promises motion design with taste

Mosaic launches Motion, an AI agent by Adish Jain that generates and edits polished motion design videos from prompts, assets, and style references.

Its own launch video was entirely generated by the tool it presents: Motion, an agent qualified as frontier by the Mosaic team (YC W25) led by Adish Jain, tackles polished motion design.

From a prompt, enriched as needed with links (product, article, 𝕏 thread, YouTube video), in-house assets, or a style reference like 3Blue1Brown, Vox, or Spotify Wrapped, the agent conducts its research, builds a storyboard, then produces the video: animated scientific explanation, product launch, logo animation, conversion of an article into video format, or graphic overlay for an existing talking-head.

The claimed meticulousness is achieved through easing curves, pacing, micro-movements, and consistent color palettes. Crucially, the result can be edited directly, by drag and drop or via chat to adjust a color, an effect, or the duration of a sequence, without full regeneration with each edit. The example gallery ranges from a ten-minute video tracing the making of Claude to an animated comparison between wealth tax and income tax. Motion is publicly accessible at motion.so, with consumption credits, an API, and a Motion Studio for end-to-end premium productions.
