Morphic assets gain a storage layer

Morphic adds a tag-based storage layer to its asset library, allowing teams to organize, filter, and import visual production elements directly onto the Canvas.

In Morphic, tags become an organizational building block for the asset library. Teams can now tag an image, character reference, set, or production element to track its status, signal a need, or create their own project benchmarks.

Once these tags are added, the library filters by tag, and the selected asset can be brought directly onto the Canvas. The feature remains modest, but it addresses a very concrete point in AI workflows: we often generate faster than we organize.

For a platform that combines Canvas, Copilot, Compose, animation, editing, and reference management, this metadata layer primarily serves to prevent visual production from ending up in a cluttered attic.
