MiniMax Hub, a local creative studio driven by a team of agents
MiniMax Hub launches on macOS and Windows as a local desktop app where specialized AI agents collaborate on a single canvas to generate video and audio.
MiniMax, the company behind Hailuo AI, launches MiniMax Hub, a desktop application for macOS and Windows presented as the first local multimodal creative platform. The concept: instead of generating an image or a video individually, the user directs a team of specialized agents who divide the pipeline, from research to final editing, including script, image, voice, and music. A primary agent reads the intent or a brief, breaks down the task, and automatically matches the most suitable model, with manual selection still possible.
Everything is built on a single canvas, where script, storyboard, video, music, and editing flow seamlessly without changing tools. The application runs locally: it accesses files on the machine, connects to pro software for import/export, and keeps content user-side. As you work, the agent captures reusable Skills, with a dedicated store already offering them for advertising, documentary, micro-drama, or export to CapCut. At key stages, the agent requests validation before proceeding. A launch offer promises 3,000 bonus credits for any login before July 1.
