Manus releases Scheduled Tasks 2.0, a redesign of its recurring automation feature. The initial version was limited to relaunching a task at fixed intervals, which caused each execution to lose the context of the original conversation. The new iteration enables a scheduled job to remain within the same task, reusing already produced instructions, files, decisions, and results, rather than starting from scratch.

Scheduling also extends to Manus Projects and web applications created with Manus. Within a Project, a recurring task now inherits the shared configuration: files, skills, connectors, instructions, output formats. For a web application, scheduling becomes an integrated behavior within the app itself, capable of updating data, executing a script, updating a dashboard, sending a reminder, or producing a periodic summary without human intervention.

Several settings govern each schedule. The Run options allow choosing whether each execution extends the same task or opens a new one. Skip confirmations enables trusted workflows to publish or disseminate without manual validation at each pass. Connectors can be attached to a scheduled task so it can draw from already connected external applications. The choice of agent, the associated Project, and the execution environment is configured from a single screen.

A side panel and two views, schedule and calendar, list upcoming and past executions. Each execution card links to the associated task to inspect its result. The feature is available to all users.
