Luma Skills transforms a successful creative workflow into a reusable recipe
Luma launches Luma Skills, a feature within Luma Agents that lets users turn creative workflows into reusable recipes to run on any asset.
Luma launches Luma Skills, reusable creative workflows housed within Luma Agents. You upload your creative DNA once, build a Skill from it, then relaunch it at will on any asset.
The idea: a Skill is not a single output, but the reusable process that produces it, meaning the instructions, defaults, references, settings, and intent behind the result, like a saved creative recipe. Its strength lies in separating what must remain constant from one pass to the next—the form of an object, a character's identity, or product fidelity—from what can vary—the material, setting, platform, or format.
On the production side, a Skill can be described in natural language, as you would explain the task to someone, or can be built by the agent from a simple prompt. It then runs on any asset, chains with others—one producing the visual, another animating it, a third creating social media variations—and can be shared with a single click, via link, package, or file, so that one person's workflow becomes the entire team's. Cited uses range from material transformation to product lifestyle scenes, including character consistency, image-to-video conversion, or campaign adaptation.
