Live Layers: text and graphics in layers in the Reve editor

Reve's image editor launches Live Layers, a new tool to overlay and composite independent text and graphic elements directly onto generated images at reve.com.

Reve's image editor welcomes Live Layers, a feature that overlays your own text and graphic elements onto any generated image, without leaving the interface. It's composed of two building blocks. Add Text places a title, caption, label, or text box on the image, with control over font, size, color, alignment, fade, and opacity; custom font import is supported. Add Image places logos, shapes, icons, and stickers over the scene, to point out, frame, or complete a detail missing from the original photo.

A compositing option goes further than simple overlay: text can be integrated into the scene and harmonized with it rather than laid flat. Each layer remains independent: you can reorder, adjust color and opacity, move or delete an element without touching the rest of the image or flattening the composition.

The feature is accessible now on reve.com, by opening an existing image.
