Krea opens a public Moodboard Gallery for its Krea 2 model.

Krea 2 launches a public Moodboard Gallery on krea.ai, allowing users to browse and apply thousands of community-made style references to guide image generation.

Krea enhances its Krea 2 image model with a Moodboard Gallery, a public gallery powered by thousands of moodboards. These inspiration boards can be browsed, selected, and then utilized to guide image generation.

As a reminder, a moodboard in Krea 2 is a collection of images, without the four-visual limit typical of classic style references. The tool analyzes them and extracts a "taste profile" combining color palette, lighting, texture, composition, and atmosphere, which subsequent generations incorporate more consistently than with a simple text prompt. Up until now, users could create and share their own boards, a feature launched about two weeks ago; now, a ready-to-use library is added, categorized by genres such as surrealist, cinematic, illustration, or photography.

Two automatic modes accompany the release, still in preview. The "Random" mode picks a random moodboard for each generation, while the "Auto" mode selects the one that best matches the entered prompt. All of this is available in the Image tool on krea.ai, in Large or Medium versions.
