[I/O 2026] Google Flow and Flow Music are enriched

Google Flow Agent and Flow Music gain new creative tools, mobile apps, and section-by-section editing for Google AI subscribers at the I/O 2026 event.

Beyond the arrival of Gemini Omni in the tool, which is addressed separately, the core of the new features lies with the agent and the tools put into the hands of creatives.

Google Flow Agent supports every stage of a project, from brainstorming to editing: it comments on dialogues, suggests narrative directions, produces several variants in parallel, applies batch modifications, and organizes elements into collections, which it can rename. Additionally, there are the Flow Tools, which allow users to create their own tools and workflows in natural language, such as an image editor, a video resizer, or a color grading tool, and then share them. An early access partner, László Gaál, for example, designed pixelBento to apply lo-fi or glitch-style post-processing effects. Everyone can use the existing tools, but only Google AI subscribers can create or modify them.

For music, Flow Music offers section-by-section editing, with lyric rewriting or translation and rhythm adjustment without altering the rest, and allows transforming a finished track into a cover version while preserving melody and structure. Music video creation now relies on Gemini Omni. Mobile applications complete the package, with Flow in beta on Android and Flow Music on iOS, while web versions remain the reference platform.
