ImagineArt makes text embedded in images editable with Magic Text

ImagineArt Magic Text makes text embedded in images fully editable, rivaling Ideogram and Canva with automatic OCR reconstruction on ImagineArt 2.0 Edit.

ImagineArt completes its editor with Magic Text. The feature addresses a known limitation: text within an image, whether generated by AI or from a photo, previously remained static, making it impossible to retouch without redoing everything in design software.

The principle relies on automatic text detection, which the tool reconstructs into truly editable layers. The layout, hierarchy, font, effects, and original position are preserved. From there, the content can be rewritten or translated, colors and gradients adjusted, style and shadows reworked, and layers freely moved. ImagineArt describes the entire process as a combination of OCR and one-click reconstruction, designed for design, marketing, and localization.

The demonstration starts with a visual featuring green neon text, “THE GRIND NEVER SLEEPS”, transformed into “GRIND ON” and then localized into Spanish, without the integration into the image degrading.

This approach is not isolated: Ideogram had introduced its Editable Text Layers a few weeks earlier, not to mention Canva with its Magic Layer. ImagineArt relies here on its ImagineArt 2.0 Edit editor. The feature is accessible for free after creating an account, with some advanced functions falling under paid plans.
