ImagineArt's Edit 2.0 upgrades its AI image editor with four reference images, identity locking, mask-free editing, and style transfer on web and mobile.

ImagineArt is rolling out version 2.0 of its editing tool, Edit. The update increases the number of reference images from three to four, with each image capable of guiding a distinct aspect of the rendering—such as character, style, lighting, or pose—from a base image and a simple text prompt. The editor claims "identity locking," which is designed to maintain a consistent face, character, or object across generations, as well as a more faithful style transfer, whether in terms of mood, colors, or texture. It also highlights finer composition control and mask-free editing, with the AI, in principle, only affecting the requested elements. The released demonstration shows a retro kitchen scene re-edited for lighting and effects, without manual selection. The tool is available for free on ImagineArt's website, supporting prompts in both French and English, and is also offered as a mobile application on iOS and Android.
