Grok comes to PowerPoint via a free Microsoft 365 add-in

xAI integrates its Grok assistant into Microsoft PowerPoint via a free Microsoft 365 add-in to generate and edit complete slide decks from user outlines.

xAI brings its Grok assistant into Microsoft PowerPoint, as an add-in that sits alongside the presentation. Based on a user-provided outline, Grok generates complete decks, with web or 𝕏 search, diagrams and images, and asks clarifying questions when needed. It can also provide ad-hoc assistance: add a slide, apply a style or theme, restructure a section with a simple command, tighten a slide's narrative, or update data via an online query.

The add-in leverages Grok connectors: you can ask it to draft slides based on recent emails or from files stored in SharePoint or Google Drive. It's free and available from the Microsoft marketplace for any Microsoft 365 account, complementing versions already offered for Word and Excel.
