From floor plan to 3D, Maket 2.0 brings home design together
Maket 2.0 brings together floor plan generation, natural language editing, 3D visualization, and visual references in a single workspace. An existing plan can also be imported from an image or PDF and then transformed into an editable project.
Starting from an idea or an existing plan
Adding a bedroom, expanding a kitchen, or completely rethinking a house's layout no longer necessarily requires manually rebuilding its plan in design software.
With Maket 2.0, users can generate a new plan based on their constraints, import an existing document, or start from a blank canvas. An image or a PDF can thus serve as the foundation for a project that can then be modified within the platform.
The same environment supports the various stages of design, from the general floor plan to working on rooms, styles, and finishes. Modifying space using natural language
Once the plan is created or imported, transformations can be described directly using text instructions.
Users can request a new layout for the rooms, work separately on a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, or a bathroom, and then continue making modifications without having to start over from a new generation.
Maket positions this interaction as an alternative to design tools that require prior mastery of specialized software. The platform is also intended for professionals wishing to quickly produce multiple options to show their clients. From floor plan to 3D visualization
The proposals can then be visualized in 3D and customized in different styles. Maket provides a visual library, but also accepts reference images to guide the look and feel of an interior or a house.
Floor plan, spatial layout, and visual direction thus remain grouped within the same project. Users can transition from structural modifications to exploring materials, finishes, or the ambiance of a room.
Maket states it has surpassed 8 million plans created, 6 million house concepts generated, and 1.5 million registered users. These figures are reported directly by the company. Credits for each generation
Free access includes 30 credits with no credit card required. Creating or importing a plan consumes 20 credits, a rendering costs 10 credits, and an optimization costs 5 credits.
The Homeowner plan costs $20 per month for 300 credits, while the Pro plan goes up to $100 per month for 3,000 credits. Monthly credits expire at the end of each billing cycle, whereas separately purchased credit packs do not expire. A custom-priced Scale plan completes the offerings designed for larger volumes.
Plans produced with Maket are not directly intended for construction. The company specifies that a qualified professional must still review the project based on the site, the building's structure, and local regulations before any permit application or start of construction.
