FLUX 3 Video Moves From Early Access to the API

FLUX 3 Video opens its API with a Draft mode at $0.06 per second, 20-second clips, native audio, and output up to 1080p.

FLUX 3 Video is now available through the Black Forest Labs API and several partner platforms. The model generates clips up to 20 seconds long with audio from text, a single image, or multiple keyframes.

Output is generated at 720p, with a 1080p version produced through upscaling. The system can also extend up to four seconds of existing video and audio, continuing the motion, camera behavior, dialogue, and sound environment.

A Draft mode lets users quickly test a direction for $0.06 per second. Once a preview is approved, it can be rendered at full quality starting at $0.17 per second while, according to BFL, preserving the subjects, composition, and motion of the draft.

The model can also generate multiple shots within a single sequence, synchronized dialogue in several languages, sound effects, and ambient audio. Support for combined image, video, and audio references is planned for a future version, along with 2K and 4K output.

FLUX 3 Dev is still planned as an open-weights variant. No specific timeline has been provided for that release or for FLUX 3 Image.
