FLORA strengthens its Layer Editor with true typographic control

FLORA Layer Editor 2.0 adds advanced typography controls, brand font imports, and FAUNA agent integration to streamline precise graphic design workflows.

FLORA expands its layer editor, the Layer Editor, whose version 2.0 aims to keep refined layer work within the tool, without leaving the canvas for a third-party software. The editor already existed for superimposing and transforming images; this version pushes it towards typography and fine composition.

The main focus of the update is on text. Users can import their own brand fonts, then adjust kerning, tracking, and leading, whereas an image editor typically offers only basic text. Additionally, there are precise margins, a zoom function within the editor for pixel-perfect alignment, and geometric snapping that snaps layers together. FAUNA, FLORA's in-house agent, can now directly intervene in the Layer Editor to make adjustments, add text, resize, or revise a layout, instead of leaving these adjustments solely to the user.

This update closes the gap between image generation and graphic refinement, and thus caters to demanding branding, packaging, and composition needs, where it is essential to remain faithful to the brand guidelines while maintaining control over every single detail.
