fal.ai launches fal Assets, a centralized library with semantic search and a Characters tool to organize images, videos, and audio files in beta.

fal.ai introduces fal Assets, a space designed to group and organize all content produced on the service. The goal: to gather the entire history of generated content in one place, without having to search for it across multiple tabs or download and re-import it.

The feature relies on a unified library combining images, videos, and audio files, complemented by semantic search that covers the entire history. Rather than a simple keyword match, the system retrieves an asset based on its description or meaning, even without the exact terms. A Characters section also allows users to save characters for reuse in future creations and maintain visual consistency, whether it's the same face or style from one image or video to another. Each element can also be sent directly as input to fal Sandbox, the tool used to test multiple models in parallel.

Regarding the interface, the system is organized around a sidebar classifying content by type, a dedicated space for characters, collections for sorting projects, and a recent additions area. According to co-founder Gorkem, the feature particularly targets AI agents, providing them with context from past generations to feed subsequent ones. fal Assets is offered in beta, accessible from a fal account.
