Erasing bystanders from a shot without going back to film the empty background

The LTX-2.3 Clean Plate LoRA removes bystanders and vehicles from a video. A method to reconstruct static backgrounds without a clipping mask.

A Clean Plate LoRA joins the LTX ecosystem, grafted onto the LTX-2.3 model, to remove people, pedestrians, and vehicles from a shot, and then reconstruct the background they were obstructing. In post-production, a "clean plate" refers to a shot of the empty set, typically filmed on set with a locked-off camera once the frame is cleared, to serve as a base for compositing.

The removal takes place across the entire image, with no need to draw masks or perform prior rotoscoping. The publisher indicates that architecture, road markings, and vegetation remain preserved, as these fixed elements are precisely what would betray a poorly adjusted edit.

The adapter works in video-to-video and is loaded in ComfyUI on top of the base model.
