ElevenLabs opens access to Music v2 via its API and SDK

ElevenLabs opens its Music v2 model to all developers via its API and SDK, enabling text-to-music generation and inpainting for commercial applications.

Previously limited to early access through the sales team, ElevenLabs' Music v2 model is now opening up to all developers via its API and SDK. The goal: to integrate music generation and editing directly into third-party products and workflows, where the model already powered ElevenMusic and ElevenCreative in-house services.

The API exposes composition from a text prompt, section-by-section construction (intro, verse, chorus, outro with distinct styles and lyrics), reference-matching to align with an existing track, and multilingual generation announced in 59 languages, with native rendering in eleven of them. Inpainting, which regenerates a verse, chorus, or bridge without affecting the rest of the track, is also among the features, but for now it remains reserved for the enterprise tier on the API. In parallel, ElevenLabs provides a one-command installation skill, which prepares the development environment.

The company highlights a model trained on licensed content and authorized for broad commercial use, without synchronization fees or authorization delays. The most extensive rights, for major studio film, television, and game productions, however, fall under the enterprise offering.
