ElevenLabs launches ElevenMusic, a platform for music discovery, remixing, and creation
ElevenLabs launches ElevenMusic, an AI platform for music discovery, remixing, creation, and monetization, featuring a free iOS app and a $9.99 Pro plan.
ElevenLabs has launched ElevenMusic, a platform that combines in a single environment the discovery of music from independent artists, the remixing of existing tracks, AI-assisted creation of new tracks, and the monetization of uploaded content. The entire platform relies on its in-house music model already deployed on its creative tools. The experience is structured around four uses. Discovery provides access to a catalog of over 4,000 independent and emerging artists, recommended based on the listener's tastes. Remixing allows users to transform a track by modifying its genre, tempo, or mood. Creation starts from a minimal prompt (a lyric, a melody, a mood) which the model develops into a complete composition, in French as well as other languages. Finally, the monetization aspect extends the model already applied to voice: ElevenLabs states it has paid over $11 million to contributors to its voice library, and now applies a comparable royalty system to music creators, conditioned on listener engagement and eligibility thresholds detailed in the Creator Royalty Terms. The platform's launch is accompanied by the release of Eleven Album Vol. 2, the second in-house album produced in collaboration with independent artists, including Lei Swan, Stefano, Poison Ivory, Danger Twins, Kes, Justin Love, and Skye Louise. ElevenMusic is accessible via a free iOS app with in-app purchases, and via the web at elevenlabs.io/music, where it integrates with the ElevenCreative suite. A Pro plan is priced at $9.99 per month or $95.90 annually. The model generates at 44.1 kHz and allows for broad commercial use, with the exception of certain restrictions on use in film, television, and large-scale games for the Self-Serve plan.
