Dreamina AI opens a call for projects for its AI and Animation Summit at the Annecy Festival 2026.

Dreamina AI launches a €40,000 call for projects for its Animation Summit at the 2026 Annecy Festival, utilizing its Seedance 2.0 and 「Octo」 models.

Dreamina AI will host the Dreamina AI International Animation Summit on June 23, 2026, as part of the 66th edition of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, where AI is one of this year's structuring themes. The global call for entries opens from May 13 to 30, 2026, with jury deliberation between May 31 and June 5 and an announcement of the winners in June, for a total prize fund of €40,000.

The call is divided into two tracks, open simultaneously to the same applicant. The first track focuses on original animated short films lasting one to twenty minutes, finalized from October 2025 onwards, and using Dreamina AI as the primary production tool, in horizontal format and subtitled in English. The second track concerns feature film or series proposals in development, in the form of a PDF dossier (synopsis, team, production plan, budget, resource needs) accompanied by a video demo of at least thirty seconds. Three works and one project will be selected, each awarded €10,000 in cash and coverage of flights and accommodation to attend Annecy in person, participate in screenings, roundtables, and meetings with the international industry.

The project selected in the second track will benefit from extended support: Dreamina credits, access to the platform's model teams, early access to new versions, as well as visibility on the Douyin and TikTok ecosystems. A parallel engagement mechanism allows participants to earn additional credits by publishing their works on TikTok with dedicated hashtags. The summit will leverage Dreamina Seedance 2.0 and 「Octo」. The registration form, detailed judging criteria, and jury composition are published on the official Dreamina AI website.
