Dramagic organizes short-drama production from script to video preview

Dramagic brings script analysis, asset setup, storyboarding, and video previews into a single environment. BytePlus is positioning the AIGC platform for teams producing short dramas and cinematic content collaboratively.

The script becomes the starting point

Producing a short-form series with AI often means moving between separate tools for writing, visual references, storyboarding, and generation. With Dramagic, BytePlus brings those stages into a connected workflow designed for production teams.

The process starts with script analysis before moving into character, environment, and asset setup. Those elements feed into the storyboard and eventually a video preview, giving teams a way to review the project before moving further into production.

Dramagic therefore sits closer to a production environment than a standalone video generator. Different stages of a project remain connected, while collaboration tools allow multiple people to work on, review, and revise the same production. Keeping characters and scenes consistent

Part of the system focuses on visual continuity. BytePlus says Dramagic includes consistency checks for characters and scenes, alongside controls designed to provide editing-level precision rather than forcing teams to regenerate an entire sequence.

That direction matches BytePlus' broader work around short dramas. Its documentation already describes workflows that break content down into scenes, characters, and actions, then allow teams to revise storyboards before generating individual shots or complete sequences.

The company also provides ScriptGen, a tool for converting novels into short-drama scripts, alongside services covering translation, dubbing, lip-sync alignment, and video processing. A platform rather than a new generation model

BytePlus has not yet publicly detailed Dramagic's technical architecture or identified the models powering each stage. Current documentation lists Dramagic among its AI products, while its model catalog separately offers systems such as Dreamina Seedance for video and Dola Seedream for images.

The platform should therefore be distinguished from the underlying generation models: Dramagic orchestrates the production workflow, but BytePlus has not yet specified whether Seedance, Seedream, or other internal systems directly power generation inside the environment.

Access currently goes through an interest form for companies and production teams, with no public pricing or open-access option documented yet.
