CRE[AI]TE: CapCut opens its first global festival dedicated to creation by AI

CapCut launches CRE[AI]TE, its first global AI creation festival, offering a $200,000 prize pool with submissions open in four categories until August 10, 2026.

CapCut is organizing for the first time an international festival dedicated to works designed with artificial intelligence, named CRE[AI]TE. Applications are divided into four categories: Film, Series, Creative, and Commercial, and remain open until August 10, 2026.

The total prize pool reaches $200,000 in rewards, with a Grand Prize of $70,000, category prizes (Category Winners and Honorees), a Student Vision Award, and twenty Spotlight Selections. Beyond the awards list, the program includes festival screenings, CapCut creator events, and industry networking. Selected works will be evaluated by an international jury and broadcast on the platform's official channels. To facilitate participation, a Starter Pack provides access to one month of CapCut Pro, distributed in limited waves of 200 claims between June and July, as well as 4,000 AI credits for creators who share a behind-the-scenes video with the dedicated hashtag.
