Clueso raises $10 Million to automate corporate video production
Clueso raises $10 million to develop its AI agents capable of automatically creating, editing, and updating professional videos.
A product demo video can become outdated as soon as a company updates its interface. You then have to retake the captures, adapt the script, record a new voiceover, and redo the editing. Clueso aims to automate this production pipeline with AI agents capable of creating videos, as well as updating them when products evolve. The startup has just raised a $10 million Series A, bringing its total funding to $12 million. AI Agents That Record and Edit Videos
Unlike video generators that produce footage from text prompts, Clueso focuses on the content companies need on a daily basis: software demos, tutorials, internal training, marketing videos, or sales presentations.
Its agents can navigate software, browse through various features, and automatically record on-screen actions. From these elements, the platform orchestrates scriptwriting, voiceovers, graphic animations, and video editing.
When a product changes, the agents can return to its interface to record the new footage needed for the update. The ambition is to reduce the maintenance workload for video libraries, which is particularly time-consuming for software vendors that release frequent updates. A Common Visual Identity Across All Productions
Clueso is also introducing Clueprints, production templates that consolidate a company's brand guidelines: visual identity, typography, voices, animations, subtitles, music, and localization rules.
The idea is to allow multiple teams to produce consistent videos without having to rebuild their creative direction for every project.
A browser-accessible editor then allows users to manually adjust clips, pacing, text, and animations. Clueso thus maintains a human validation step, despite the automation of production.
The platform also offers a conversational agent capable of modifying a video upon request. Through an MCP (Model Context Protocol) connection, assistants like Claude or ChatGPT can interact with Clueso to create, edit, and manage content as part of broader workflows. Over 1,000 User Companies
Clueso now claims over 1,000 client or user organizations, including Atlassian, GitLab, Zendesk, Samsara, Legrand, and Gainsight.
At Atlassian, the platform is notably used to produce educational videos from preliminary content, while Seismic uses it to update its tutorials as its products evolve.
These examples illustrate Clueso's positioning: a single platform can serve marketing, sales, product, training, and customer support teams, rather than remaining limited to a single department. $10 Million to Scale Production
Founded by Akash Anand, Prajwal Prakash, and Neel Balar, Clueso secured this funding from an investor group led by Dharana Capital, with participation from Y Combinator and f7 Ventures. Founders Future and Neotribe Ventures are also joining as investors.
More than 80% of the funds raised come from investors who participated in the previous round. The company also states that it has been cash-flow positive almost since its inception.
This new capital will fund the development of its agent infrastructure, the improvement of creation and editing tools, and hiring efforts. Toward Videos That Evolve with Products
Clueso's vision goes beyond simply reducing editing time. The company wants to transform professional videos into content capable of adapting to the continuous evolution of software, procedures, and internal knowledge.
However, this automation raises a question of reliability: recording a new interface does not guarantee that a tutorial's explanations remain accurate. Human verification remains important, particularly for regulatory training, sales demos, and sensitive procedures.
With Clueso, available online, video is no longer viewed merely as a file produced once, but as content intended for regular updates. This shift in approach could appeal to companies managing hundreds of tutorials and demos that need maintenance.
