ChatGPT is revamping its scheduled tasks feature, these recurring actions that the assistant performs at a set time. OpenAI now wants them to be faster, more reliable, and simpler to manage, from a dedicated “Scheduled” page that consolidates them. The rollout targets Go, Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users, on both web and mobile.

Concurrently, the company is retiring Pulse, its proactive daily brief feature, within two weeks. It invites users to shift this usage to scheduled tasks: simply scheduling one is enough to continue receiving a daily summary built from their interests, past conversations, and connected applications. The automatic summary is therefore not disappearing; it simply changes its access point, from the standalone section that Pulse was to the scheduling system.
