Catalog dimensions go from hand to API: Product Dimensions
BRIA AI launches Product Dimensions on WaveSpeedAI, an API automating marketplace product photo dimensioning to replace manual design for $0.04 per image.
The last remaining manual step in catalog production, dimensioned images, is now automated. BRIA AI releases Product Dimensions, an API exclusively available on WaveSpeedAI: from a product photo and a set of measurements, the tool generates a dimensional visual ready for marketplaces.
The principle: the original product is preserved pixel-perfect, never redrawn, the background removed, then height, top width, and bottom width dimensions are added. Measurements are displayed in metric or imperial units, in a chosen style (default, playful, or elegant), with optional title, weight, or capacity.
The targeted stakes are industrial. Until now, the dimensioned product sheet required a designer, a third-party editing tool, and manually drawn dimension lines, one image after another, hardly sustainable at a rate of 1,000 SKUs per week. Product Dimensions reduces the operation to a single API call, with, according to BRIA, rendering in a few seconds and batch processing covering 100 to over 10,000 references. The publisher highlights settings calibrated for marketplaces, intended to pass automatic checks on the first submission and limit rejected listings.
The service is billed at $0.04 per image on WaveSpeedAI, a price BRIA presents as low enough to be applied to an entire catalog rather than a selection.
