Apply a HEX code to an area of the image and get exactly that color

Reve adds a zone-based color tool to its image editor, letting users apply exact hex codes or sampled colors to specific areas without affecting the rest.

Reve is adding a zone-based color reference feature to its image editor. Users can select a region of the image—such as a wall, packaging, fabric, or background—and apply a specific color to it, either by entering a hex code or by sampling it directly from the image.

Two tools coexist. The eyedropper sets an exact value, delivering the precise color requested. This is designed for cases where the shade is non-negotiable, such as brand colors, product references, or client specifications. The slider, on the other hand, defines a range rather than a single point, allowing users to describe the desired spectrum for an area while preserving the natural variations that prevent an image from looking flat.

The color is applied zone by zone without affecting the rest of the image, making it easy to align product visuals, packaging, or campaigns with a single brand identity. The feature is available now for any image opened in the application.
