Anthropic resets the usage meters for Pro and Max plans
Anthropic resets usage quotas for Claude Pro and Max plans after a Claude Code bug caused excessive parallel subagent calls to the Opus 4.8 model.
This reset follows a bug fix in Claude Code. In some sessions, the environment was generating too many simultaneous subagents, which exhausted quotas much faster than anticipated, sometimes within hours. The problem specifically concerned the processing of requests made to Opus 4.8 and was triggering more parallel tool calls than the model actually required. The company also specifies that this malfunction was distinct from Dynamic Workflows, the feature designed to deliberately launch numerous subagents in parallel. The behavior has now been corrected.
