Anthropic closes a $65 billion Series H funding round, bringing its post-money valuation to $965 billion. The round is led by Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks, and Sequoia Capital, and co-led by Capital Group, Coatue, D1 Capital Partners, GIC, ICONIQ, and XN, alongside a long list of investors.

The company states that its annualized revenue run rate exceeded $47 billion earlier this month, an increase since its Series G in February. The funds will finance its safety and interpretability work, expand its computing capacity, and develop its products and partnerships. The round also includes $15 billion in prior commitments from hyperscalers, including $5 billion from Amazon.

On the infrastructure side, Micron, Samsung, and SK hynix join as memory and chip partners. The company also details recent computing capacity agreements, including up to an additional five gigawatts with Amazon, five gigawatts of next-generation TPUs with Google and Broadcom, and access to SpaceX's GPUs in Colossus 1 and 2. Finally, Claude becomes the first frontier model accessible on the three major clouds, AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, with AWS remaining its primary training partner.
