Anthropic launches Claude for Small Business

Anthropic launches Claude for Small Business via Claude Cowork, connecting the AI assistant to tools like QuickBooks, PayPal, and HubSpot with 15 workflows.

Anthropic is launching an offering dedicated to small businesses, activatable via Claude Cowork. The service connects the assistant to the tools these businesses already use daily: Intuit QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, DocuSign, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365. Fifteen agentic workflows and fifteen skills are delivered ready-to-use, covering finance, operations, sales, marketing, HR, and customer service. Cited uses include payroll preparation, monthly account closing, following up on unpaid invoices, tax season preparation, contract review, or conducting a marketing campaign with asset generation in Canva. Each action requires user validation before any sending, publishing, or payment, and existing employee permissions in QuickBooks or Drive remain applied. The offering is accompanied by two initiatives: AI Fluency for Small Business, a free online course co-designed with PayPal and led by small business leaders, and the Claude SMB Tour, a free training tour that started in Chicago and is scheduled for about ten American cities this spring. Anthropic also supports a program for solopreneurs backed by the Workday Foundation and LISC, as well as three community financing institutions.
