A prototype built during a coding session becomes a public and collaboratively editable page

Claude Code artifacts are opening to the public and can be edited live by multiple users, changing the validation speed of interactive mockups.

Claude Code artifacts—those interactive web pages published by an agent from a development session—are gaining three new capabilities: public publishing, collaborative editing, and creation directly from Slack.

First, public publishing. An artifact can now be made public, accessible via a simple link without requiring an account or login. This allows an internally designed prototype to be shared beyond the company. However, on Team and Enterprise plans, this feature remains disabled by default: an administrator must authorize it, otherwise artifacts can only be shared within the organization.

Next, collaborative editing. Multiple people can work on the same artifact, with distinct roles: by default, someone with whom the page is shared is a viewer, but they can be promoted to editor. They can then publish their own versions by providing the artifact's URL to the assistant in their own session, which retrieves the current content and republishes it with their modifications. Anyone with the page open will see the updates in real time. This feature is exclusive to Team and Enterprise plans.

Finally, Claude Tag, the agent that can be mentioned in a Slack conversation, can now create these pages. Requesting a dashboard in a discussion thread returns a functional page that can be shared within the organization.
