A multi-cloud control point for Claude Code

Anthropic launches a self-hosted gateway for Claude Code on Amazon Bedrock and Google Cloud to centralize access, SSO policies, and cost tracking.

For teams using Claude Code via Amazon Bedrock or Google Cloud, Anthropic is introducing a self-hosted gateway responsible for centralizing access, policies, and cost tracking.

Until now, usage often involved developer-by-developer distributed cloud credentials, settings manually pushed to each machine, and separate tools for tracking expenses. The gateway functions as a control plane deployed as a stateless container, with a PostgreSQL database, a connection to the enterprise identity provider, and per-user usage attribution.

It supports SSO, centralized policies, role-based permissions, spending caps, and routing to Claude API, Amazon Bedrock, or Google Cloud, with the ability to switch between providers. Anthropic also specifies that inference traffic and usage data are not sent to it, unless the company explicitly configures routing through the Claude API.
